Reclaimed water is water recovered from domestic, municipal, and industrial wastewater treatment plants that has been treated to standards that permit safe reuse. Properly reclaimed water is typically safe for most uses except human consumption. This publication describes how reclaimed water is generated and what should be considered for use.
