This publication presents guidelines to consider when installing or upgrading manure-treatment systems or technologies on farms. The publication provides an overview of the basic principles underlying manure treatment systems or technologies. Also presented are some questions to guide producer conversations with technology providers or vendors to obtain answers to inform their decisions about selecting a system appropriate for their farming operation.
