Manure storage structures as necessary components of manure management system on farms where animals and/or poultry are raised. Sizing and siting of a manure storage structure are import to ensure adequate storage capacity and prevention of potential pollution problems that may occur if manure is not stored and managed properly. This publication presents guidelines on how to estimate manure quantities generated on a farm and considerations to site storage structures.
